If you're in Alghero and you love nature, you cannot miss this trekking route around Capo Marrargiu. You'll discover a unique landscape of sea and mountains in Sardinia.

Hike Along the Capo Marrargiu

At the indicated time we'll meet at Via Lido de Alghero. From there, we'll depart on board a vehicle and head towards Bosa, where our trekking route along the Capo Marrargiu will begin. Let's go!

After a drive of approximately 40 minutes, we'll get out of the vehicle and start the hike through the impressive landscapes of Capo Marrargiu. We'll walk among red rocks, cliffs and ravines, surrounded by lush Mediterranean flora and fauna.

During the route, we'll enjoy incredible panoramic views and the possibility of spotting species such as pilgrim falcons, golden eagles, and, of course, golden vultures, the main characters of the area.

Our excursion will then take us to a wild cove where you'll enjoy a peaceful atmosphere. Here you'll have free time to take a dip in its crystal clear waters and relax your muscles after the walk. You'll also be provided with snorkelling masks with which you can explore the fascinating marine flora and fauna of Sardinia.

After this relaxing moment, we'll stop at a viewpoint to enjoy a tasting of typical Sardinian products including sausages, semi-cured pecorino cheese, and two types of traditional Sardinian bread. Also, you'll fall in love with the panoramic views, as we'll see Alghero and Capo Caccia in the distance.

After having enjoyed an unforgettable day in the nature of Capo Marrargiu, we'll return to the meeting point in Alghero, arriving 6 hours after departure.
