Upon arrival, we'll take a stroll through the historic heart of this stunning Castellón gem. It's worth noting that Villafamés has earned the prestigious title of being declared a site of Cultural Interest.
We'll wind through the meandering streets, offering a glimpse into the bygone Al-Andalus era. Along this route, we'll encounter stone-built houses, the village's charming church, and the iconic facade of the Villafamés castle.
Next, our journey will lead us to the renowned Roca Grossa, a massive stone formation that has become an enduring symbol of Villafamés. Here, we'll regale you with tales of the enduring legends that have circulated for generations, surrounding this captivating natural wonder.
Our next destination is the Batlle Palace, now transformed into the Museum of Contemporary Art of Villafamés. We will explore this 15th-century palatial residence and delve into a curated collection of artworks spanning from the 1920s to the contemporary era. During our visit, we will enlighten you on the profound symbolism behind the most significant pieces of art it houses.
After 5 hour of cultural immersion, we'll return to Alcocéber.
