We'll meet up at the Alcocéber Tourist Office at the designated time and set off on our excursion to Morella, where we'll uncover the enchanting allure of one of Spain's most picturesque towns.
Our road trip to Morella will last about one hour and fifteen minutes. Upon our arrival, we'll embark on a guided tour of the city. At the top of the mountain, we'll be greeted by the awe-inspiring sight of the monumental Morella Castle and the town surrounded by ancient defensive walls. Prepare to be utterly captivated!
As we traverse Morella on foot, our path will lead us through archways, grand manors, charming boutiques, and the town's fortified gates. Passing through one of its most iconic entrances, the San Miguel Gate, we'll step into the heart of the ancient town.
Continuing our walk, we'll encounter the Town Hall, a fifteenth-century building of great historical significance that remains a prominent feature of Morella. Subsequently, we'll visit a Miel Guimerá store to taste a selection of products and acquire souvenirs if you wish.
Our journey continues to the renowned Basilica of Santa María la Mayor, showcasing splendid Gothic architecture. Inside its hallowed walls, we'll tour the interior to unveil the intricacies concealed therein. Finally, you'll have some free time to enjoy lunch at your leisure, the perfect chance to try local cuisine.
