At the designated time, we'll pick you up from the selected meeting point to begin our adventure getting to know Alcamo's typical products. Ready to taste some of Sicily's tastiest delicacies?
Our first stop will be at a vineyard in the heart of the Sicilian countryside. Here, we'll begin our route by exploring its lands and cultivations. During our walk, we'll tell you about the history of local wine cultivation and the production process of wine, olive oil, and honey—3 authentic treats that are an essential part of the island's cuisine.
To better understand the importance of bees and their work, we'll head over to a beehive. Here, we'll admire these industrious insects come in and out of the hives as they make their exquisite nectar, which we'll later have the chance to taste.
Next, we'll sit at an outdoor table to raise a toast with some wine paired with a careful selection of artisanal products: bread, olive oil, olives, pates, cheese, cold meats, jams, and, of course, freshly harvested honey. Ready for a wine and culinary experience that will awaken your senses?
Lastly, after a total of 2.5 hours, we'll say our goodbyes at the meeting point, where we'll end this flavourful adventure.
