We'll begin our walk through the historic center of Alba by discovering some really curious facts about this land. Did you know that the emperor Pertinax was born here? And that this town is the birthplace of one of the most famous brands of hazelnut chocolate in the world? Sometimes, you can smell the cocoa aroma as you stroll through the old town.

During the tour, we'll admire the exterior of the medieval towers of Alba and the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, built between the 15th and 16th centuries. Not far from here, you'll see the church of La Magdalena, a true Baroque jewel that's sure to surprise you.

We'll also talk about the importance of wine and truffle culture in this Piedmontese town. In fact, one of the most important truffle fairs in Italy is held here every year.
