Alba Cathedral Bell Tower & Undergrounds Tour + Tasting
Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at Piazza Rossetti, in front of the bell tower, where we'll start this tour that will take us to two of the town's main attractions: the Alba Cathedral's bell tower and the MuDi Museum. Are you ready?
First, we'll enter the majestic Alba Cathedral, a historic and architectural gem. In its interior, we'll briefly explore its floor to then access to the most important part of the visit, the bell tower! As you climb up, we'll tell you fascinating stories of the tower's construction and the milestones that have marked the town's past.
From the top, you'll enjoy the views of the surrounding hills, an impressive scenic view that will be right before our tasting of traditional products. Here, you'll try some of the most renowned delicacies of Piamonte, like vermouth and the famous hazelnut, symbol of these lands. Delicious!
After the tasting, we'll descend the tower to head to MuDi Museum, which was founded in 2008 with the aim to promote both the artistic heritage and the historic background of the diocesan territory between Langhe and Roero. Here, you'll explore the underground area of the Alba Cathedral and the exhibition rooms, where many historic and archeological events will take you back in time.
After 1 hour, we'll conclude this tour of the museum, where you'll be able to stay as long as you want.
Children Under 18
Children under 18 will be served fresh fruit juice instead of vermouth.
