Al-Ula Tour
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel and head to the old town of Al-Ula to start learning about the history of this city.
Inhabited since the 12th century, the historic center of Al-Ula is a labyrinth of narrow streets full of stores and houses built with stone and adobe. We'll discover the origins of this town and tell you about the great economic prosperity it achieved thanks to its ideal location on the "Incense Route".
The guided tour will also take us to visit an ancient castle and discover many of the legends that have been passed down from generation to generation among the people of this Saudi city.
We'll also see what traditional Arab architecture was like and learn why this city was abandoned at the end of the 20th century. It was then that its inhabitants moved to modern Al-Ula, only 6.2 miles (10 km) away, but with a much safer infrastructure.
After an hour of sightseeing, we'll end the tour by dropping you back off at your hotel.
