Northern Lights Tour + Whale Watching
Northern Lights Tour + Whale Watching
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Akureyri to start our Northern Lights tour and whale-watching activity!
First, we'll travel to the Eyjafjord, where we'll board a boat to watch whales and seabirds. Did you know that this is the largest fjord in the country? It's also one of the best places to see whales in Iceland. During this 3-hour trip, we'll tell you lots of interesting facts about these cetaceans and answer any questions you may have.
After the boat ride, we'll take you to the outskirts of Akureyri to see the Northern Lights, an incredible natural phenomenon that you have to see at least once in your life! Depending on the weather, we'll go to the appropriate place to have the best chance of seeing the Northern Lights.
Finally, we'll drop you off at your hotel in Akureyri 6 hours later.
Important
- Both activities are subject to weather conditions and may be canceled at short notice. In that case, we'll contact you as soon as possible and offer you to rebook on another date.
- Please keep in mind that the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and we cannot guarantee that you'll see them, even if you take the tour.
- If the tour is done and you do not see the Northern Lights or the whales, we'll offer you the possibility of doing it on another date.
