Machu Picchu Guided Tour
Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at the Aguas Calientes Train Station, where we'll board a bus that will take us, in just 25 minutes, to the entrance of Machu Picchu.
We'll begin our tour at the main viewpoints, where you'll be able to take unforgettable pictures of this iconic archeological site nestled in the heart of the Andes mountain range. It'll be an amazing keepsake of your trip to Peru!
Afterward, we'll start our tour of Machu Picchu by exploring every one of its corners. We'll walk among the most important temples and palaces, like the Temple of the Condor, where you can admire a stunning sculpture carved in rock honoring this majestic bird that's sacred to the Incas.
We'll also visit the Sacred Rock, which, according to studies, had an important spiritual and ceremonial significance. We'll stop at the Temple of the Three Windows, an enigmatic construction that, according to various hypotheses, represented the Andean worldview.
Plus, we'll pass by the main square of Machu Picchu, the epicenter of the citadel, where important events were celebrated in the past.
For 3 hours, we'll explore each corner of these impressive ruins, unveiling their mysteries and reliving its glorious past. Did you know Machu Picchu was hidden for centuries until its rediscovery in 1911?
Finally, we'll take a bus to return to Aguas Calientes, where we'll conclude our tour 4.5 hours after it began.
