Machu Picchu & Aguas Calientes Bus Transfer
With your round-trip ticket, you'll skip the busy queues of travellers heading to Machu Picchu and set off in comfort from the centre of Aguas Calientes.
The bus to Machu Picchu from Aguas Calientes departs from Avenida Hermanos Ayar, and the journey to the famous Inca citadel takes 30 minutes. During the trip, you'll relax in the comfort of our air-conditioned vehicle.
Our bus follows the Hiram Bingham Route, which was named after the American politician and explorer who made the existence of the ruins of Machu Picchu known to the public. This route covers a distance of 5 miles (8 kilometres) in a zig-zag pattern.
Skip the lines
By booking this ticket in advance, you'll skip the long lines that build up in Aguas Calientes to buy public transportation tickets to Machu Picchu, especially in July and August. However, you will have to wait in queues to get on the bus.
Schedule and frequency
The Machu Picchu and Aguas Calientes bus transfer runs from 5:30 am to 5 pm, with buses departing every 10 minutes.
Your ticket won't have a set time, so you can hop on the bus whenever you like during its scheduled hours. If you're unable to use the ticket on the date booked, you can use it on the day before or after the date of your reservation.
