At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at the place of your choice, whether it's your hotel, the train station or the airport, to begin this tour of Agra's Temples. Are you ready to visit three of the city's most prominent shrines? There's no purer demonstration of Hinduism that you can witness!
Our first stop will be at the Shri Mankameshwar Mandir Temple, dedicated to Shiva. We'll see devotees carrying flowers and sweets as offerings, creating an explosion of colours and smells that will captivate all our senses.
We'll then proceed to Balkeshwar Mandir, an ancient Mahadeo temple. This place is especially significant during the holy month of Saawan and is one of the four temples dedicated to Shiva in the city. The devotion and fervour here will captivate you.
Not only will we get to know the idols of Hinduism, but also of the Radhasoami movement, a faith with a tradition of more than 150 years! For this, we'll visit the majestic Soami Bagh, a complex of several shrines and a mausoleum of a guru of this spiritual movement. The white sculptural details and the mixture of architectural elements of temple, mosque and vihara will leave you speechless.
After a 3-hour tour of Agra's temples and feeling steeped in spiritual history, we'll bid farewell at the pickup point.
