Day Trip to Mathura

At the established time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Agra and set off on this excursion to Mathura, a city full of fascinating history where we'll get to delve into the heart of Hindu religion and culture.

After a road trip of about an hour and a half, we'll arrive at our destination and begin a tour of the most iconic spots in Mathura. First, we'll visit the Shree Krishan Janam Bhoomi complex, a group of Hindu temples built on the site where, according to legend, the Hindu god Krishna was born.

From here, we'll head over to the Dwarkadhish temple, considered one of the most beautiful in Mathura. Its elaborate details and magnificent murals will leave you speechless.

The next stop will be at the Sri Krishna Balaram temple, also known as the ISKCON temple. Did you know that this is the main headquarters of the Hare Rama Hare Krishna mission? We'll learn all about this branch of religion while admiring all the architectural details of the temple.

By now you'll have built up an appetite! Our next stop will be at a restaurant area where you can have lunch on your own. Afterwards, we'll visit the Prem Mandir, built entirely of white marble - many say it's the most beautiful temple in Mathura! We'll marvel at its numerous statues and learn the significance behind each one of them.

Finally, we'll return to Agra and end our tour of Mathura after 10 hours of sightseeing.
