Marrakech Day Trip
At 7 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel or riad in Agadir and start our adventure to Marrakech, one of Morocco's most exciting destinations.
As soon as we arrive, we'll set off on a walking tour of the Medina of Marrakech. In this neighbourhood, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, we'll find the city's main historic treasures. Among them, the great Kutubiyya Mosque and its iconic minaret stand out. Can you guess how high it is? Let's find out!
During our tour of the Medina, we'll walk alongside some of Marrakech's other symbolic sights, such as the Saadian Tombs and Bahia Palace. Built at the end of the 19th century under the orders of the grand vizier Si Moussa, this grand 86,000 square foot (8,000 square metre) mansion is a masterpiece of Islamic-Moroccan architecture.
After visiting the Medina, we'll take you to either the Mezeh Dada or Dar Nejjarine restaurant so you can spend some free time trying the delicious traditional Moroccan gastronomy.
Once you've had lunch, we'll explore some of Marrakech's other sites, such as Kissaria Market and the Marrakech Carpet Bazaar, which boasts a wide range of textiles and rugs. To round off our day trip, we'll head to the famous Jemaa El-Fnaa Square to admire a beautiful sunset.
From here, we'll set off on our return journey to Agadir. We should arrive back at your accommodation at 7 pm.
