The guide (Graeme) is charming, very knowledgeable about the city and was well documented with photographs. In the end the group was only made up of two, my wife and I, so the guide adapted to our level of English. At the end he gave us instructions to orient ourselves well in the city and use the rest of our free time.

Adelaide Guided Tour

We'll meet at 10 am in front of Adelaide City Hall to start this guided tour of the city - amazing locations await you!

At this central point in Adelaide, we'll begin to review the history of the city and discover how it evolved to become the coastal capital of South Australia. We'll walk through its streets and see architectural icons including the Adelaide Treasure building, and you'll be captivated by its colonial style!

We'll continue the tour discovering more symbolic locations, such as the statues of Queen Victoria, Charles Cameron Kingston and John McDouall Stuart; the Adelaide Administration Office, the St. Francis Xavier Cathedral of Adelaide and Victoria Square, one of the most popular corners of the whole city. Did you know that the locals know this square as "Tarndanyangga"? It means "the place to dream of the red kangaroo".

After two hours walking through the streets of Adelaide and getting to know this amazing city, we'll arrive at the old General Post Office, where the tour will end at 12 pm.
