At the designated time, we'll meet at Via Provinciale 23/25 in Aci Trezza. We'll set off walking to the Aci Castello Port and board a boat where we'll be given all the equipment necessary for the activity.
As we sail towards the Protected Cyclopean Isles Marine Reserve, we'll explain how the underwater scooters work and the advantages they'll have while you're swimming. This remarkable aquatic propulsion device will allow you to swim in a more nimble fashion underwater, making diving even more fun. Thanks to this machine, you'll be able to swim without getting tired.
With an instructor accompanying you at all times, you'll dive into the sea down to a depth of 60 feet (18 meters). As you hold on to the underwater scooter, you'll swim by volcanic faults and sunken ships and admire the marine flora and fauna. We'll be able to spot octopi, seabreams, seahorses, and many other animals.
After the dive, we'll return to the boat and finish our activity after a total of four hours back at the starting point.
Diving certification
To be able to participate in this diving activity, you need to have the PADI Open Water International certification, or something similar, which certifies that you're prepared for this dive.
