The Abu Dhabi sightseeing bus (Big Bus Tours) is a comfortable and practical way of touring the city. The double-decker open-top bus travels to the city's main sights. You can get on and off at any of the stops, allowing you to explore the city as you want.
Routes and stops
The Abu Dhabi Hop-On Hop-Off bus follows 2 different two-hour routes, with over 20 stops, located close to the main tourist attractions around the city. Along the journey, you'll enjoy English-language commentary on the places you drive past.
Some of the most interesting stops are Heritage Village, Corniche Road, and the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. You can even visit the famous Ferrari World theme park.

Options
- 1-day ticket: Includes unlimited access to the Big Bus service for one day.
- 2-day ticket + Sheikh Zayed Mosque+ Louvre Abu Dhabi: in addition to the use of the buses for 2 days, this ticket also includes a tour of the mosque and admission to the Louvre ABu Dhabi museum.
- 2-day ticket + Sheikh Zayed Mosque + Presidential Palace + Louvre Abu Dhabi: in addition to the advantages of the previous option, this ticket also includes a tour of the Presidential Palace and admission to the Louvre ABu Dhabi museum.
How does it work?
The ticket is valid for 1 or 2 consecutive days starting from when it's used for the first time. During this time, you can hop on and hop off the buses as many times as you want so you can get to know the most iconic places in Abu Dhabi.
Although when making the reservation, you'll be asked for a start date, you can use the service over the twelve months following the start date. When you have made your reservation, we'll send you a voucher you must hand in on the first bus you get on.
Timetable and frequency
- Red line (city tour): from 9 am to 5 pm, every hour. The complete route takes around an hour and a half.
- Green line (Yas Island tour): two daily departures, at 12 pm and 2:30 pm The complete tour takes approximately one hour and 40 minutes.
