Enjoy a unique way to explore the River Tay in Aberfeldy: paddling down the white water rapids on a ducky raft. Unforgettable fun!
Ducky Rafting on the River Tay
After meeting your guide on Dunkeld Road in Aberfeldy at the scheduled time, we'll head down to the banks of the River Tay, where our instructor will tell us everything we need to know about ducky rafting. Then, once we're kitted out in all our gear, we'll climb aboard!
The ducky is a combination of raft, kayak and Canadian canoe that we'll use to navigate the River Tay, which is known for its white water rapids. During the calm parts of the river, we'll be able to admire the beautiful Scottish countryside surrounding us, but keep an eye out for what's ahead!
Paddling furiously, we'll descend the rapids of the Tay at full speed. The unique shape of the duckies mean you'll be bounced into the air and feel a rush of adrenaline at each obstacle.
After two hours of ducky rafting, we'll head back to the original meeting point where we'll say goodbye.
