Do you want to discover the oil capital of Europe? On this guided tour of Aberdeen, we'll walk the city's streets and explore its underground tunnels and graffiti!

Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Visit Scotland iCentre Aberdeen to begin our guided tour of this city that grew from a small fishing village to become the oil capital of Europe.

During our guided tour of Aberdeen, we'll pass through some of the city's oldest streets and most iconic buildings, such as Marischal College and the Kirk of St. Nicholas. We'll also make a stop at the charming and historic Netherkirkgate!

The tour will continue through the mysterious tunnels which lie beneath the city and tell the story of its dark history. We'll brave our way through the underground tunnels and learn of their relation to the witch trials which took place in Aberdeen.

We'll also pass through the famous Union Street, which is known for its shopping and lively atmosphere! On this route, we'll get a feel for the incredible street art, which has become an integral part of the city's culture. From grand murals to smaller pieces on unassuming corners of the city - street art is everywhere!

After 1 hour and 30 minutes, we'll return to the starting point to end the tour.
