At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Statue of Eleftherios Venizelos and leave Thessaloniki behind. Prepare to sit back and relax in the Pozar thermal baths and explore the ancient city of Edessa.
Firstly, we'll visit Pozar, a magical place where we'll enjoy an unforgettable moment of relaxation. Located about 100 kilometres (62 miles) from Thessaloniki, these natural pools offer an experience full of contrasts thanks to the icy waters coming from the mountains and the heat of the thermal waters at 37 degrees Celsius (98.6 degrees Fahrenheit).
You can take advantage of all the health benefits of these inland thermal baths at the foot of the Voras Mountains. Did you know that they can help treat arthritis, poor circulation, as well as respiratory problems and skin problems?
After 2 hours of relaxation, we'll head to Edessa, the ancient capital of the Macedonian kingdom. Upon arrival, you'll have an hour and a half of free time for lunch in one of the restaurants. After lunch, we'll go to the famous waterfalls of Edessa, a place where you'll get some amazing photos.
Finally, after a total of 8 to 9 hours of sightseeing, we'll return to the starting point in Thessaloniki and bring the tour to an end.
