Poon Hill & Ghorepani 3-Day Hike

  • 1 review | 2 travellers
Very nice trekking in Nepal 3 days seeing the wonderful views of Annapurna from Poon Hill. Our guide Sagar was very good at his job. Thank you Sagar and the drivers and Dil from Alpine Ramble. We are happy with the experience. We saw beautiful places and great views of the mountains. The only hard thing was the cold, almost zero degrees without heating or air conditioning, so you have to be prepared for the cold at night. Otherwise everything was perfect. Namaste!

Poon Hill & Ghorepani 3-Day Hike

Day 1: Kathmandu - Pokhara - Nayapul - Ulleri

On the first day of the tour, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Kathmandu and take you to the airport for a flight to the city of Pokhara. There, a minibus will be waiting for us to go to Nayapul, the starting point of this hiking route through Poon Hill and Ghorepani.

Once we're all set to go, we'll start walking along the north bank of the Bhurungdi River in the direction of Ulleri. On the way, we'll stop in the village of Tikhedhunga for a break and then continue walking for about another hour until we reach our destination.

Day 2: Tikhedung - Ghorepani

After a good night's sleep, we'll refuel with a hearty breakfast and then grab our backpacks to continue our hiking route.

We'll start the day by heading to Ghorepani, following a pleasant trail that offers views of some of the area's most impressive landscapes. You'll have fantastic views of the Machapuchare mountain and the south side of Annapurna - time to take out your camera!

At noon, we'll stop in Bhanthati for lunch before the last leg of the day to reach the village of Ghorepani.

Day 3: Ghorepani - Poon Hill - Hille - Pokhara - Kathmandu

On the last day, we'll wake up early in the morning and head towards Poon Hill to witness one of the most spectacular sunrises you'll ever see. It'll leave you speechless!

After this stunning natural spectacle, we'll retrace our steps back to Ghorepani and Ulleri until we reach Nayapul. There, the minibus will be waiting for us to take us to Pokhara, where you'll take a flight back to Kathmandu.
