Kathmandu at Night Rickshaw Tour
Kathmandu at Night Rickshaw Tour Itinerary
Meet your guide at 6 pm, ready to begin your tour of Kathmandu by night. You'll hop on board a traditional rickshaw and delve deep into the lively evening atmosphere of the Nepali capital. Start in the very heart of the city centre, in a popular neighbourhood of colourful streets known as Thamel.
Your evening tour will take you to the Kathmandu Valley area, home to many emblematic monuments that have been recognised as World Heritage Sites. Marvel at Durbar Square and visit the Asan Market, popular amongst locals and tourists alike for its fresh vegetables and aromatic spice stalls.
Admire the spectacular ancient temples, palaces and sanctuaries of Durbar Square, even more beautiful at night under the illumination of the moon. This is the ideal place to take in the cultural and architectural heritage of Kathmandu, and you'll even have the opportunity to try rakshi, a local beer (not included). We also recommend sampling one of the tasty cakes from the bakeries on Freak Street, on the historic hippy trail!
After discovering the magic of Kathmandu Valley, you'll climb back into your rickshaw and make the return journey to Thamel, where your tour will end around 9 pm.
