Mount Everest Expedition

Day 1: Kathmandu

Let's go on an adventure! We'll pick you up from the Tribhuvan International Airport and take you to your hotel in Kathmandu. You'll then have the rest of the day to spend at your leisure until dinner when we'll meet again to start planning our trip.

Day 2: Kathmandu

On the second day, we'll attend a briefing session where we'll finalise all the details necessary for our 64-day expedition to Mount Everest. You'll meet the rest of the team, the Sherpa leader and go over the route day by day.

Day 3: Kathmandu

Before setting off on our expedition, we'll spend a day visiting the city of Kathmandu to see its most iconic monuments. Fascinating places such as the Swoyembunath Stupa, better known as the Monkey Temple, Pashupatinath Temple and Durbar Square await.

Day 4: Kathmandu - Lukla - Phakding

Are you ready for an adventure? After breakfast, we'll head to the airport and hop on a 30-minute flight to Lukla, the starting point for most Everest treks.

When we get there, we'll get our energy back with a hearty breakfast before setting off on the first hike to Phakding. Our hike will take us through remote villages, unspoilt forests and mountain scenery as we follow the course of the Dudh Koshi River.

Day 5: Phakding - Namche Bazaar

After we've had a filling breakfast, we'll grab our backpacks and set off for Namche Bazaar, about 6 hours away. Along the way, we'll admire the first views of Mount Everest, lush forests, hanging bridges and beautiful waterfalls.

Day 6: Namche Bazaar

Having arrived at Namche Bazaar, we'll spend a day relaxing here. This place is also known as the town of the Sherpas and is the main commercial centre of the Everest region. You can make the most of this day to rest and take short hikes in the local area to explore the surroundings.

Day 7: Namche Bazaar - Tengboche

With a little more spring in our step, we'll head to the highest Buddhist monastery in the world, which is in Tengboche. We'll spend the night here surrounded by an indescribable, peaceful atmosphere.

Day 8: Tengboche - Dingboche

In the morning, we'll have a hearty breakfast and set off for the village of Dingboche. This hike will take about 5 hours, by which time we'll be about halfway up Mount Everest!

Day 9: Dingboche

The ninth day will be spent getting acclimatised to the altitude at Dingboche, where we'll be at an altitude of almost 17,000 feet (5,180 metres) above sea level. We'll also make the most of this day to take an easy 2-hour hike to Mera Peak.

Day 10: Dingboche - Lobuche

After a day of relaxation, we'll start hiking again towards the Lobuche settlement. On the way, we'll admire breathtaking views of the glaciers on both sides of the trail and the scenery from the Chola Tsho viewpoint. The time will fly by!

Day 11: Lobuche - Gorakshep

We'll continue walking along the trail between the Khumbu and Lobuche glaciers as we make our way to the village of Gorakshep, located on the shores of a frozen, sand-covered lake. We're almost at the Everest Base Camp!

Day 12: Gorakshep - Everest Base Camp

First thing in the morning, we'll grab our backpacks once more and get ready for the climb.

After around 2 hours of trekking, we'll arrive at the place where it all begins. Welcome to Everest Base Camp!

Day 13: Everest Base Camp

Are you ready to put your climbing skills to the test? We'll take the opportunity to rest, get acclimatised to the altitude and check that we've got all our equipment ready to climb to the top of the world.

Days 14 to 57: Base Camp - Everest Summit - Base Camp

It's time! We'll make our way up to an altitude of 29,031 feet (8,848 metres), the highest peak in the world.

Even though we'll be using oxygen cylinders, especially in the final stage of the ascent, we'll spend 44 days climbing up to the summit and then making the descent. This is an incredible feat that few people have achieved - good luck!

On day 57, we'll be back at Everest Base Camp, having spent over a month sharing this unique experience.

Day 58: Everest Base Camp - Pheriche

Having climbed all the way up to the top of the world, we'll pack up our tents for the last time and store the climbing equipment to start making our descent to the village of Pheriche. When we get there, we'll spend the night in a hotel where you'll rest in a real bed and take a relaxing hot shower. You've earned it!

Day 59: Pheriche - Namche Bazaar

On the 59th day of this expedition, we'll leave Pheriche behind and head to Namche Bazaar, where we'll feel like we've returned to civilisation. Here, you'll be able to find all the comforts of the city: internet, bars, shops, cafés... Not too bad after over a month in the mountains!

Day 60: Namche Bazaar - Lukla

After getting our energy back in Namche Bazaar, the last trekking route in the Everest region lies ahead of us. Once we reach Lukla, we'll give our bodies the rest they deserve.

Day 61: Lukla - Kathmandu

Once we've had breakfast, we'll fly back to Kathmandu and celebrate reaching the summit of the most demanding mountain in the world.

Days 62 and 63: Kathmandu

Now that we're back in the capital of Nepal, you'll have 2 days of free time to explore Kathmandu at your leisure, relax, go shopping and go out to eat at its restaurants. It's up to you!

Day 64: Kathmandu

On our final day, we'll drive you to the airport and say our goodbyes. Did you know that Nepal is home to 8 of the 14 highest peaks in the world? After this incredible experience, you'll want to continue climbing to the world's most challenging summits!
