What is Puy du Fou?
What is Puy du Fou, you ask? Well, it’s not your typical amusement park. It’s a unique theme park that recreates Spain’s past, focusing on the Middle Ages and the Modern Era.
Just like its counterpart in France, Puy du Fou España has masterfully reconstructed everyday life from days gone by. Prepare to be amazed as you explore four historical villages within the Spanish Puy du Fou.
First up: La Puebla Real, a recreation of Toledo from the time of Alfonso VI. And that’s not all! Just outside the village walls, you’ll discover El Arrabal, a bustling hub where merchants, foreigners, and villagers would gather.

Another must-see is La Venta de Isidro, which recreates a frontier outpost. And last but not least, we have Askar Andalusí, the camp of Caliph Abderramán III.
Each of these historical villages also offers restaurants and food stalls where you can refuel and recharge. There’s also a wide range of shops and stores where you can buy traditional crafts from those periods.
How to get to Puy du Fou?
Now that you know what this world is all about, let’s talk about how to get there. Puy du Fou is just a 15-minute drive from Toledo, so if you have your own vehicle, you can make your way there and purchase your tickets directly at Puy du Fou Spain.

If you’re in Toledo but don’t have a car, no worries! You can book a transfer service to Puy du Fou Spai from Toledo.
The proximity of this city to the Community of Madrid makes it easily accessible from the Spanish capital as well. In that case, we recommend joining an excursion to Puy du Fou España from Madrid.
