Description
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the Estación de Francia in Barcelona and set off on our excursion to Andorra. We'll visit its capital and one of the most famous ski resorts in the Pyrenees.
We'll drive north until we cross the border from Spain to Andorra. Along the way, we'll see the beautiful mountain landscapes in the Pyrenees - it's impressive to see how the scenery changes as we travel north.
First, we'll venture across the border into France to explore the renowned hot springs of Aux Les Thermes. We'll then make a quick 5-minute stop at the scenic viewpoint of Pas de la Casa, a French border town that serves as the entrance to the exceptional ski resort of Grandvalira. Discover fascinating facts along the way, including the fact that this is the highest pass in the Pyrenees.
Then, we'll arrive in Andorra la Vella & take a 1-hour guided tour of the capital of this small country. The Casa de la Vall, Dali's clock, and the church of San Esteve, dating back to the 12th century, will be some of the highlights.
To complete the tour of Andorra la Vella, we'll walk along Meritxell Avenue, one of the city's main streets, where you'll have free time to go shopping (duty-free!) and grab some food at one of the restaurants.
Finally, we'll start our way back to Barcelona and the trip will come to an end back at the starting point after a total of 12 hours.
